Rooted in over 40 years of experience across design, hospitality, and project management, we bring a refined approach to interior transformation. From restoring heritage homes to crafting modern, open-plan spaces, our philosophy prioritises natural materials, livability, and seamless design integration.

After taking a sabbatical in Europe for 7 years and following my passion for interiors which led me to study at the prestigious KLC School Of Design in London for 5 years, deepening my expertise in interior architecture, styling and sustainable design. My journey from Bortolotto’s to Cecconi’s Melbourne - Has instilled an unwavering commitment to detail, atmosphere and craftsmanship. Today Bortolotto Interiors continues this tradition, delivering inspired interiors that are both functional and enduring.

My partner master craftsman Don Bennett

Don Bennett is a highly skilled master craftsman with over 40 years of experience working with timber. Renowned for his commission-based, one-of-a-kind pieces, Don’s work reflects his deep appreciation for the natural beauty of wood and his ability to transform it into both functional and artistic creations.

His unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship has established him as a sought-after artisan for bespoke timber projects. Known for his problem-solving expertise, Don is valued for finding innovative solutions to design challenges. Using natural materials is always his preferred choice, ensuring each piece is timeless and authentic.

Don possesses a profound understanding and appreciation of traditional techniques from around the world, with a focus on refined craftsmanship of Japanese traditions.
